Roof Leak

This is a business in Oswego, NY that had a leak in their roof. New York has gotten higher than average rain fall this year. Water began coming in through the roof and soaked the tiled ceiling overhead. The missing portion of the ceiling tile in the before picture was so saturated that it fell to the floor. SERVPRO was able to tarp the roof to temporarily stop the water from entering the building via the roof. We removed all of the affected ceiling tiles and cleaned the floor to remove any debris that had fallen down prior to our arrival. in this case, a roofer was necessary to fix the roof before drying could begin. If water is still intruding into the property when SERVPRO arrives, we cannot properly dry out the affected area.
