Power Outage

It's important to be ready for a power outage at any time. Losing power can happen all year long for a number of different reasons. We want you to be safe if that should occur.
Make sure to always have a flashlight with batteries and candles in an easily accessible area of your home that you could grab. Every few months you should check to make sure the flashlight is still in working order and that the batteries have not died.
You should store bottled water in your home for this type of emergency. Remember not to open the refrigerator or freezer more than necessary to keep all of the food cold for as long as possible.
Consider having a generator on back up to use in case of a power outage.
